i dont like social networks...they tend to shape the way people live their lives...the way they think is also alter...attitude towards real life changes...because like booze people use the social networks to hide from real life situations...make a hand count of the people you know utilising these social platforms to make friends or even talk/discuss their frustrations about life...keeping intouch with family and friends not close by is what i would opt for in using these networks of communication...the owners of these platforms have succesfully managed to capture the masses...that sucks because now we dont even call each other anymore, nor do we even visit to see how one is keeping up with life... the older generation would make up for the majority that do make these social calls by visiting/calling...these platforms drive people into spaces of anti-socialism i am talking the young generation here...what about the newer generation what will they learn from their mom and dad if they always behind a pc/mobile device either chatting or whatever the case maybe... i was shocked when i took my son to the mall and there i tried to get him to play in the beach sand and fake grass and he was terrified by the texture of both...that surely sent a message to my brain, because myself i am guilty too.
